SOME MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE OIC IN CAMEROON

The Song-loulou hydroelectric dam for an amount of 7 million US dollars (Agreement signed on March 1, 1977 and entered into force on July 24, 1977).

CELLUCAM, for an amount of 10.630 million US dollars (Agreement signed on March 3, 1978 and entered into force on April 9, 1978).

The SCAN Tomatoes project in Foumbot amounting to 2.34 million US dollars (Agreement signed and entered into force on November 21, 1988).

Sangmelima-Ouesso road (Sangmelima-Djoum section), 45.063 million euros and 7.864 million euros (signature date: 18 Jan. 2010. Declaration of entry into force, as of 29 March 2010).

The construction of the Limbe Shipyard for an amount of 15.373 billion FCFA (Agreement signed on September 8, 2004).

The construction of the Ayos – Bonis road in the Eastern Region, costing 10.8 million US dollars (Agreement signed in 2003 and entered into force in 2005).

The village water project through 400 boreholes, for an amount of 5 million US dollars (Agreement signed on August 27, 1984 and entered into force on April 23, 1985).

The Douala-Yaounde road for an amount of 6 million US dollars, (Agreement signed on December 1, 1981 and entered into force on January 29, 1984).

Equipment for the Kousseri hospital, for an amount of 1.2 million US dollars (Agreement signed on June 16, 1980 and entered into force on June 18, 1980).

The Integrated Rural Development Project of Menchum and the Rural Development of the Far North, for respective amounts of 3.930 million US dollars (Agreement signed on June 27, 1986 and entered into force on August 29, 1987) and 0.3 million US dollars.

The inventory of forest resources for an amount of 1.1 million US dollars, (Agreement signed on July 25, 1984 and entered into force on October 25, 1984).

The construction of two schools in Kousseri and 48 schools in border areas as well as their equipment, respectively carried out at a cost of 0.288 million and 9.075 million US dollars.

Feasibility studies of the Foumban-Tibati road and the Chari-Logone project, amounting to 0.7 million and 0.165590 million US dollars respectively.

A SNI credit line of US$6.5 million.

The Mokolo-Mora water supply, for an amount of 8 million US dollars.

The US$5 million grain storage and grain office rehabilitation project.

Partial financing of the Foumban-Tibati road for an amount of 9.63 million US dollars (agreement signed on October 11, 2005).

The Mount Mbappit development project for an amount of 9.63 million US dollars (Agreement signed on February 6, 2006).

The basic education support project for an amount of approximately 10 million US dollars (Agreement signed in December 2006).
